Hi. I’m Michelle. I am 31 years old and the mum of a beautiful little girl.
I am currently studying a Bachelor’s of Arts and a dual Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood education and Primary education at Southern Cross University Lismore on a Merit Scholarship. I am organised, punctual, professional, a great communicator with both children and families and have a passion for working with young growing minds. I have worked in the Early Childhood industry over the period of 10 years and during those years I obtained and have maintained a current Working With Children’s Check, a Blue Card, First Aid certificate including CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis components, a Certificate three and Diploma in Children’s Services and a Diploma in Community Services. I have also participated and passed the recommended teaching LANTITE test. I have experience in liaising with ESL families and Working as a direct support teacher for children with Disabilities and Special needs. I advocate for Lord’s Taverners who work within the youth and disadvantaged community to obtain access to sporting goods. I also advocate and volunteer with the AIME program which is working directly with secondary Indigenous students to mentor and support youth to continue studies. I love working with families and communities and as a mother and an educator I understand the importance of influences on children.
I look forward to meeting your family x
