Hi, I’m Laura. For the past 10 years I have dedicated my career exclusively to working with children in various settings including child care, teaching and leisure time.
I started babysitting and tutoring Special needs kids when I was a teenager. Also, I have been a leisure time instructor and yoga/zumba teacher in several Summer camps and in out-of-school hours. When I finished my Bachelor in Primary education 4 years ago, I decided to work for a year as a Spanish teacher in the US. After that experience, I have been a 2nd grade teacher in a very nice school in Barcelona. I’m currently having a year off and I hold a W&H visa to work and travel a little around this paradise.
What I like the most about caring for children is that they bring out my inner child. I really love their creative mindset, their playfulness, spontaneity and curiosity towards everything that surrounds them. Also, they have the facility to transmit their positive energy and enthusiasm to everyone.
I could describe myself as a happy, open-minded, energetic, responsible and sociable girl. In my spare time I love traveling, going to the beach, playing volleyball and hiking. I’m a big fan of nature so from time to time you can find me lost in the woods.
I look forward to meeting your family.
