Hi, I’m Janaya. I’m a full-time primary school teacher at a private school in Brisbane.
Currently teaching Grade 3 and I absolutely love what I do. Alongside my teaching career, I have over 15 years of babysitting and nannying experience and more than a decade in the education field. Caring for children has always been a huge part of my life, both personally and professionally.
Before completing my degree in Primary Education, I nannied and babysat for families across Australia and the United States, caring for children from newborns to early teens. While I thrive in the classroom with my primary students, I also treasure those special moments caring for babies and toddlersthere’s something so sweet about being part of their early milestones and routines.
I bring a joyful, energetic, and calm presence to every babysitting job, and my goal is always to provide exceptional care and peace of mind—whether you’re heading out for a night on the town or just taking a well-deserved break. I love creating engaging, play-based learning experiences and am always happy to take children on fun outings or cozy up for a creative afternoon at home.
In my downtime, you’ll often find me soaking up the sun at the beach, reading a great book, or exploring charming little towns in search of the best almond croissants and gelato around!
