Hello, my name is Isobel. I have an environmental science degree and a great love of nature. I have worked regularly as a mentor on family village camps, facilitating groups of children in self-lead play, crafting and more structured games. I love to journey with a child’s amazing imagination, teasing out their awe and wonder through story and exploration. I love to move and play physically, whether through dance or games and I also appreciate quieter activities such as art. I am sensitive to the unique character of each child and am willing and able to support different personalities and preferences. I look forward to meeting your family!

Laura

Hi, I’m Laura. For the past 10 years I have dedicated my career exclusively to working with children in various settings including child care, teaching and leisure time. I started babysitting and tutoring Special needs kids when I was a teenager. Also, I have been a leisure time instructor and yoga/zumba teacher in several Summer camps and in out-of-school hours. When I finished my Bachelor in Primary education 4 years ago, I decided to work for a year as a Spanish teacher in the US. After that experience, I have been a 2nd grade teacher in a very nice school in Barcelona. I’m currently having a year off and I hold a W&H visa to work and travel a little around this paradise. What I like the most about caring for children is that they bring out my inner child. I really love their creative mindset, their playfulness, spontaneity and curiosity towards everything that surrounds them. Also, they have the facility to transmit their positive energy and enthusiasm to everyone. I could describe myself as a happy, open-minded, energetic, responsible and sociable girl. In my spare time I love traveling, going to the beach, playing volleyball and hiking. I’m a big fan of nature so from time to time you can find me lost in the woods. I look forward to meeting your family.

Jenna

Hi, I’m Jenna. I am a joyful Primary School Teacher who lives life to the fullest and enjoys each present moment. I have worked in the education sector for the past 10 years, 3 years as a Prep teacher and 7 years as a relief teacher, going around different schools across Victoria, Queensland and New Zealand. However, I feel most alive when working with children in recreational settings where I can help them have fun and a memorable holiday. Before my time in the classroom, I worked in before/after school care settings, holiday programs and within Kids Clubs on Hamilton Island and with Royal Caribbean Cruise Ships. I get so much satisfaction when I leave, knowing each child has had a fantastic time. Most importantly, I am vigilant regarding safety and will go above and beyond to ensure your child receives the best care. Some of my favourite things include spending time in nature, traveling in my van, attempting to play the guitar, African Drumming, Dancing, Zumba, live music and meditation. I love helping children identify their strengths/interests and incorporating them into our time together. I am also passionate about well-being and assisting children to develop a positive mindset. I love to weave elements of this into the games and activities so children not only walk away with a smile but a sense of self-love and empowerment. I look forward to possibly being a part of your family holiday very soon.
