Chloe

Hi. I’m Chloe. I’ve worked in the early childhood industry for a decade. I currently work as a kindergarten teacher and inclusion support at a Steiner school in Mullumbimby. I am an advocate for childhood and believe it should be play-based and predominantly outdoors. I have a 7 year old step-son and a lively Golden Retriever. My favourite days are those spent with my family, going to the farmers market, being outside, reading and hiking. I look forward to connecting with your family soon 🤍

Fran

Hi, I’m Fran, a bilingual 27-year-old teacher with Chilean-American-Italian heritage. My childcare journey started at a young age, babysitting my brother, leading me to become a professional babysitter and tutor at 15. Pursuing a Bachelor in Education with honors solidified my love for teaching and shaping young minds. I have a diploma in neuroscience which deepened my insight into children’s learning and the power of self-growth. I prioritize social-emotional learning and play-based exploration, fostering bilingual abilities and celebrating diversity. As a teacher in my last international school, I was part of the learning support team, where I specialized as an EAL teacher in kindergarten, so I had all types of learning situations of my students who were trying to obtain a second language. I worked with autistic, double expectational, motor dysfunction, ADHD among others. Co-workers describe me as happy, energetic, patient, and loving. I’m dedicated to nurturing young learners, inspiring a lifelong love for learning. As an educator, I find fulfillment in celebrating each student’s bilingual and diverse identity. Together, we embrace curiosity and growth in our shared learning journey. I look forward to meeting your family.

Carly

Hi, I’m Carlota but most people call me Carly. I’m a 25-year-old qualified primary teacher from Spain! Sports have surrounded me, so I started as a ski teacher when I was 16. Meanwhile, I was studying to be a dance teacher and when I was 18, I finished the Royal Academy of Dance degree and started working as a dance teacher in a school. Also, I studied in Spain for a degree as a Physical Education teacher for a Primary School at La Rioja University and finished in 2019. Why do I do all of this? Because I’ve grown up with people who love teaching and looking after kids, I feel lucky to have had this education that I would like to transmit as a teacher and babysitter to my future students and kids. I am a happy girl, responsible, careful with the details, open-minded, always ready to help, flexible and always thinking about what is best for the children. I promise I would like to care for your children with love and like they are my own. I look forward to meeting your family.

Nicci

Hi. I’m Nicci. I have a passion for childcare that I cannot ignore. Currently studying a Bachelor of Primary Education at Griffith Uni due to my love for hanging out with children and watching them grow, learn and face new experiences in school but also in life in general. I have worked with children of all different age’s and in 3 different countries, including a mission trip to Thailand and a summer camp in America and of course babysitting kids around my neighbourhood since I was 15. If it’s nice out, I like to take the kids outside, but if not, I whip out my creative art skills. In my free time, I love hiking, exercising and travelling. I love working with children and getting to know them and their individual personalities, can’t wait to get to know yours. I look forward to  meeting your family x

Even though I have spent the last two years in grade 3, I have worked across all primary grade levels. I am passionate about supporting children to engage inquisitively with the world and become thoughtful, reflective and creative young people. I have my bachelor’s degree in Arts and Primary Education and a master’s degree in Educational Leadership. My core professional values are inclusivity, respect, and integrity. I am proficient in creating innovative and engaging learning and play experiences that focus on the individual needs of each child I work with. I am a bubbly and vivacious person who loves spending her days out in the sunshine, whether this is at the beach, going for a walk, or enjoying a nice cup of coffee while reading a book. I try to find joy in the simple things but also love the thrill of new adventures. I am very creative, and I love finding ways to express my creativity and sharing this process with the children I work with.
