Hi, I’m Fran, a bilingual 27-year-old teacher with Chilean-American-Italian heritage.
My childcare journey started at a young age, babysitting my brother, leading me to become a professional babysitter and tutor at 15. Pursuing a Bachelor in Education with honors solidified my love for teaching and shaping young minds. I have a diploma in neuroscience which deepened my insight into children’s learning and the power of self-growth. I prioritize social-emotional learning and play-based exploration, fostering bilingual abilities and celebrating diversity.
As a teacher in my last international school, I was part of the learning support team, where I specialized as an EAL teacher in kindergarten, so I had all types of learning situations of my students who were trying to obtain a second language. I worked with autistic, double expectational, motor dysfunction, ADHD among others.
Co-workers describe me as happy, energetic, patient, and loving. I’m dedicated to nurturing young learners, inspiring a lifelong love for learning. As an educator, I find fulfillment in celebrating each student’s bilingual and diverse identity. Together, we embrace curiosity and growth in our shared learning journey.
I look forward to meeting your family.
