Hi, I’m Serena. I’m a childcare educator, an english teacher and a nanny.
I have always had a passion for childcare and in the past 8 years I have always worked with kids, either as an English teacher or as a nanny. Because I want to continue working with kids, I am halfway through a Certificate III in Early Childhood education and I have completed my 120 hours placement in a childcare center. I am versatile in terms of the ages I can work with and have experience with babies too (6+ months). I have worked as a nanny for several families, one of which had 5 kids. I have also worked as a teacher in private language schools and as Head of Studies at summer camps so I am used to managing a lot of children at the same time. I really enjoy inventing activities that keep children entertained. I am caring and patient, but firm at the same time. I also have good problem solving skills, I am reliable and I have a great sense of responsibility. I love cooking healthy meals and I take pride in keeping the house tidy.
