Hi. I’m Haylee. I have been working in the private childcare sector for over 7 years, with experience in infant care through to late teens.
Alongside this, I have taught for over 4 years as music and sensory teacher for under 5’s and as a private music teacher for primary aged children and teens. I have completed a Diploma of Education as well as a Bachelor of Creative Arts, specialising in music and children’s theatre. I am a very friendly, bubbly, organised, reliable and energetic person with lots of experience and a genuine passion for children. I love being able to help little one’s learn about the world and my forever goal is to have them smiling and enjoying themselves. I thoroughly enjoy diving into activities of all kinds (crafts, stories, music, sports, board games, park visits, swimming and more), so that the children are feeling comfortable, safe, inquisitive, adventurous, confident, excited and entertained.
Through my past work, I have learned exactly how to cater experiences and help children develop their personal interests and as a sensory/play/music teacher, I also have expertise in assisting infants and toddlers to extend their physical boundaries (learn to sit, crawl, walk, jump, skip, climb) as well as develop cognitive ability and language, with songs and creative flair. I am currently studying paramedicine and am very confident with first aid and high-pressure situations. I prioritise and acknowledge the importance of learning through play, exploring the outdoors and socialising, which improve social, emotional, cognitive and physical development in all ages.
I look forward to meeting your family x
