Hi, I’m Irene. I hold a university degree in Early Childhood Education.
My passion for working with children has shaped every step of my career. I’ve spent two wonderful years teaching in public preschools, leading classrooms of curious five-year-olds through play-based learning, creativity, and discovery.
One of the most meaningful parts of my journey has been working with a Spanish association supporting families of children with disabilities. From infants to teens aged 0 to 18, I provided both care and educational support to children with physical and intellectual disabilities, an experience that taught me so much about empathy, adaptability, and the power of individualized care.
With over five years of experience as a nanny and babysitter in Spain, and now continuing here in Australia since early 2024, I’ve cared for children of all ages. I also teach Spanish to kids and adults, blending fun activities with language learning to create a truly engaging experience.
Since childhood, I knew I wanted to be a teacher. Watching children grow into themselves, learning, laughing, and building confidence, fills me with joy. I believe childhood should be full of imagination, wonder, and gentle guidance.
I adore crafts of all kinds and love incorporating creativity into playtime. I also enjoy physical games, reading stories, and imaginative role-play. A fun fact about me: I used to work in a theater and even studied children’s theater at university, so don’t be surprised if your little ones are acting out stories or directing their own plays with me!
I look forward to meeting your family.
